ASEAN has to be China's Third Largest Trade Partner
Statistics indicated that Chinese export to ASEAN in January stood at USD10.55b, up 52.8%; import from ASEAN USD10.93b, up 1.2 times. Chinese trade deficit after importing products in quantity from ASEAN amounted to USD380m while the favorable balance USD1.87b from the same period of 2009.
ASEAN surpassed Japan to be China's third largest trade partner this January, with total value of bilateral trade of USD21.48b, up 80%.
